FUN and creativity reigned high on the agenda at Dodford First School when kids took part in a ‘West End in Schools’ workshop to bring books to life.
Reception, years one and two recreated ‘The Troll’ by Julia Donaldson, while years three and four put on their version of Ted Hughes’ The Iron Man.
Dance and drama became the creative expressions through which the two groups peformed their work for each other.
Headteacher Lisa Parkes said: “The children had a great time and were totally enthused by the workshop which will now feed into their creative writing in the classroom.”
