THE STANDARD  has seen the biggest percentage rise in circulation for a weekly paper in the whole country, according to the latest industry figures.

According to the ABC statistics which have just been released, the Bromsgrove and Droitwich Standards now go to 37,471 homes across the two towns, along with Rubery and South Birmingham – a rise of 18.7 per cent.

And, with large rises for our sister titles, it was good news all round for our parent company Bullivant Media.

The Evesham Observer has seen a 12.2 per cent increase, the Solihull Observer 8.8 per cent, the Stratford Upon Avon Observer (7.2 per cent), the Redditch and Alcester Standard (6.7 per cent), the Coventry Observer (5.4 per cent) and the Worcester Observer (4.2 per cent).

Editor Tristan Harris said: “We pride ourselves on bringing readers their local news, sport and entertainment first and tackling issues that affect them and their local communities.

“This increase in circulation means even more residents are now able to access those stories every Friday and even more can do so online with our daily updates
