BROMSGROVE families have been invited to enjoy the delights this year’s Wizzafest has planned for its tenth anniversary this weekend.
The special event which is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support is being held at Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club, Weston Hall Road, will go on until Sunday (July 27).
From today (Friday) residents will be able to enjoy a fantastic family weekend out and see acts such as Someone At The Door samba group, The Random Band, Stuart Bishop and The Ron Jeremy Band.
Tomorrow (Saturday) artists including Dan Sealey – the bass player from Ocean Colour Scene and Adam Barry as well as Charlie Sample and The Blackwell Concert Band will be taking the stage to wow audiences.
Children will also be able to enjoy activities from D’entertainment who are donating their services for free and will be creating a special arena with a bouncy castle, crafts, street dance workshops and outdoor garden games.
Since it first started in 2004, Wizzafest’s organisers and its passionate followers have raised an astounding £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
