THREE teenagers had two iPhones and a bag stolen from them while they were in the car park of the Gala Bingo on Rubery’s Great Park.

The incident happened about 5.30pm on Saturday (February 28) when five youths surrounded the lads and took the items.

Staff from the bingo hall looked after the boys until police arrived at the scene just a few minutes later.

The group of robbers were black and were wearing dark clothes.

Officers from West Midlands Police have said they are not linking this incident to the one in Northfield.

And, they added, patrols were being stepped up in the area and efforts to track down the offenders were ongoing.

Anyone with any information on either of the incidents above should call West Midlands Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
