TWO YOUTHS have been charged in connection with an incident where a stolen car from Rubery was crashed in Longbridge.

The two 17-year-olds, one from Kings Norton and the other from Northfield, were charged on Tuesdays (June 10) for allowing themselves to be carried in a vehicle they knew had been taken without the owner’s consent.

The Nissan Micra was stolen with its keys from New Road, Rubery, on April 26 while its owner was in the Balti Hut. The vehicle was later involved in a collision in Fountain Close, Longbridge, on April 30.

The pair are due to appear before Worcester Youth Court on June 25.
