AN AFTERNOON tea party was held at Bromsgrove Golf Club to celebrate International Older People’s Day.

Those who went along enjoyed tea with sandwiches and cakes and were entertained by keyboardist Andrew Crabtree.

He played Songs from Broadway from the 1920s to the 1960s which everyone joined in singing with.

The event was organised by the Bromsgrove Forum for Older People which meets at 10am on the second Tuesday of each month at the town’s Life After Stroke Centre, Church Lane.

The friendly group is open to those over 50.

Anyone wanting more information should email secretary Mary Rowlands at [email protected] or call her on 01527 876293.
