A TALK entitled ‘Bournheath Village – What of its Past’ will be given by Trevor Bott and Chris Lloyd at the Bromsgrove Methodist Centre at 7.45pm on Tuesday (November 17).
The event, organised by the Bromsgrove Society’s Local History Group, will be about life in the village, some of of its history, how the village developed from its early squatters, the effect of the Enclosure Act of 1799, the Tithe map apportionment of 1840 and early census records.
It will also detail some of the trades and occupations in the 19th century with some notable buildings and one or two people born in the village.
Evening parking is now free at School Drive.
