MORE THAN 3,000 people attended the annual Blue Cross fete and so far, more than £8,600 has been raised towards the centre’s rebuild appeal.
There was a variety of attractions on the day, including birds of prey, go karts, archery, drumming and circus skills workshops, children’s activities, music from local bands, a fire-eater, stilt walkers and much more.
There was also a dog show where awards were given out in a number of categories including ‘best child handler’, ‘dog with the waggiest tail’ and ‘best six legs’.
