THE SECRETARY of Bromsgrove’s Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research has been handed a prestigious award for her long-service and dedication.
Sue Knoll was given the certificate in recognition of her 21 years of voluteering for the cause.
Since its launch 27 years ago, £862,000 has been collected by the Bromsgrove branch and Sue has played a key role in that fund-raising.
Chairman Nicole Harris said “She didn’t know anything about the award and was speechless when we gave it to her.
“It was a big thank you for everything she has done – she has been brilliant and has always been there for the committee.”
