A FUND-RAISING day in aid of Prostate Cancer and Breast Cancer charities is being held in Stoke Prior tomorrow (Saturday).
The event – organised by Richard Horton and Nick Husband and their families and friends- will take place between 3pm and 11pm at the Stoke Prior Country Club.
Nick owns the sandwich bar on the A38 Rubery by-pass and at the event there will be free burgers and hot dogs, with people being asked to give a donation to the charity.
There will also a variety of attractions for youngsters, including a bouncy castle and face painting, there will be a raffle, the fire service will be washing cars and X-Factor star Ste Crump will be performing live.
The charities were chosen as Richard’s father-in-law William Brophy recently passed away from prostate cancer and a Nick’s friend Hazel lost her fight with breast cancer.
Anyone wanting more information on the event should call Richard on 07769 346825.
