A SELECTION of cine films depicting the railways from the 1940s to beyond the 1980s will be shown at a special presentation at St Godwald’s Church Hall, Aston Fields.

The presentation, which will be given by John Constable from Redditch, will take place at 7.45pm on September 14 at the latest meeting of Bromsgrove Railway Club.

John has his own special way of doing a show with the music and the advertisements before the film invokes memories of years gone by at the local cinema.

Everyone is welcome to the free event, which will also feature a book stall and refreshments.

On October 8, the club will be taking a coach to the city of Bath for a day of shopping and sightseeing.

Call Dave on 01527 873800 for more information on both events.
