THIS YEAR’S Search For A Star at Longbridge Austin Sports and Social Club is hotting up with six of the final places now confirmed.
The last semi-final takes place at 8pm at the venue this Saturday (March 19).
In last Saturday’s semi-final, Holly May from Dudley made it through after singing songs by Adele and Tina Turner, Sar Mac from Wolverhampton wowed the judges with Queen’s I want to Break Free, Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Eva Cassidy and Golffinger by Shirley Bassey and the final place went to Birmingham’s Fallon who sang Wishing on A Star, Price Tag and Rocking Robin.
After the first semi-final the week before, guitarist Esther Turner from Halesowen, Chris Tierner from Northfield and Faye Horne from Leamington all booked their places in the final which will be held at the club on April 2.
