STUDENTS AT South Bromsgrove High School held their own Rugby World Cup tournament to help raise funds for Cancer Research.
Each tutor group in year nine represented different nations, designing their own mascot and kit, and researching background information on their allocated country.
The students even hosted their own opening ceremony on the morning of the tournament, singing different national anthems to celebrate.
PE teacher Natalie Smith stated she was ‘very proud’ of the students efforts and of their decision to support the charity.
The year nines managed to raise an impressive £850 for Cancer Research, which will was presented to Karen Marshall, the manager of the charity’s Bromsgrove branch.
