THERE were satchels at the ready this week as youngsters across Bromsgrove returned to school or embarked on their first days.
At Hanbury First School, a class of 24 children aged four and five have already engaged in a range of fun activities this week, including dressing up, learning each other’s names, talking about their families and pets, playing board games, using the climbing equipment, writing letters, singing songs and dancing.
Class teacher Mrs Kershaw said the children had settled in really well and were enjoying exploring their new environment and making friends.
