Rubery tots celebrate Queen’s birthday

Updated: 1:35 pm, May 20, 2016

MORE than 20 youngsters and their parents from Cotton Tails Too nursery in Rubery held a special party to mark HM The Queen’s 90th birthday.

As well as tea and cake, the nursery was decorated with flags and bunting and there was a ‘selfie corner’ where parents could have their pictures taken with a Queen mask on.

Nursery manager Lisa Daniels told The Standard: “Everybody really enjoyed it and we had some great feedback from the parents.

“It was nice to do something to celebrate the occasion and to teach the children about an important part of British history.”
