A STUDENT from Balaam Wood Academy was given an insight into what it is like to be an estate agent after being given work experience at Your Move in Rubery.
One of the sellers asked branch manager Nicky Tunstall if her daughter Kadie would be able to do work experience at the branch.
During her time there, Kadie role played scenarios estate agents deal with, attended a viewing, experienced canvassing and, with assistance, even measured up a property.
Nicky said: “Kadie has been a star student and a pleasure to work with and will be taking quite alot of knowledge about Your Move back to school for her report.”
She added Gary Davis from the academy, where Kadie is in year ten, called to see how things were going and could not believe how well she had settled in.
“She has enjoyed every minute and the staff are so friendly,” said Mr Davis.
Mr Davis thanked Your Move for allowing Kadie to do her work experience and the two organisations plan to work together again in the future.
