Rubery Council School holds class reunion

Bromsgrove Editorial 3rd Oct, 2014 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

THOSE who went to Rubery Council School – which is now Colmers – can go along to an annual class reunion.

The event, at midday on October 23 at the Hillscourt Conference Centre, Rose Hill, Rednal, is for those who were born in 1933, or thereabouts.

Among the members in that class were Rita Carr, Barbara Ash, Margaret Quinton, Margaret Field, Polly Moth, Pamela Dovey, Paul Tranter, Roger Smith, Bruce Breakwell and Mike Richardson.

Organisers are hoping this will be the best-attended reunion yet as some have already confirmed they will be flying in from all over.

There will be a buffet lunch and bar. The cost, payable at the event, is £11.

In order to calculate seating and catering requirements and prepare name tags, those who are going need to call Paul Tranter on 0121 445 2463, email [email protected] or write to him at 6 Reservoir Road, Cofton Hackett B45 8PN.
