RETIRED community psychiatric nurse Bob Graham from Rubery has released his debut book – a humorous account blending psychiatry, science fiction, and the invasion of planet Earth.

The book, entitled – False Assumptions: A Comedy of Errors, has been inspired by Bob’s experience working with anxiety management.

Graham said he wanted to use humour as a tool to express how people jump to conclusions about each other’s behaviour, which they accept as true without questioning it.

The story, set mainly on Earth, involves an intergalactic council where one of its members hates meetings so much he decides to get rid of a boring agenda item – planet Earth.

Unfortunately for him, the alien invasion goes completely unnoticed by the earthlings.

The book is currently available from Amazon in hardback, paperback and Kindle formats. It’s also available direct from the author at [email protected], or on iTunes, from the Authorhouse UK website and from Barnes and Noble.
