RESIDENTS from Bromsgrove’s St John’s Court nursing home enjoyed a traditional trip to the seaside when they were taken on an outing to Weston-Super-Mare.
A total of 16 visitors caught a glimpse of the sea before it disappeared into the distance and then, after a stroll down to the sea front, they stopped off for fish and chips. Later, after taking in the sights and sea air, they also enjoyed ice creams.
The sun even shone on a couple of occasions and the rain stayed away.
The home’s manager Laura Wilkes said: “I would like to say thank you to all of the fabulous team at St John’s Court who made the trip a wonderful experience for the ladies and gentlemen and family members who went to Weston.
“I am very proud to work with such kind, caring & supportive team members who strive to make a difference to the lives of those who live at St John’s Court.”
