THERE are still places available in this year’s Bromsgrove Forget-Me-Not Walk to raise funds for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
The event, which takes place at 10am on Sunday (June 8), gives participants the choice of walking between one, three, five, eight or 12 miles.
It starts and ends in Sanders Park.
In 2013, the event raised more than £7,000 and this year there are already double the walkers – more than 120 have already signed up.
Entry fees are £8 for adults in advance or £10 on the day (price includes a T-shirt) and £5 for children under 12 – that includes a medal.
There are also family tickets available for £24.
Walkers are urged to have proper shoes for the event.
