RESIDENTS in Cofton Hackett have been warned to be on their guard after a spate of vehicle crimes over the bank holiday weekend.

Two cars were entered last Friday night (May 27) and both owners claimed they had locked their vehicles and put them on their driveways but there were was no sign of forced entry during either incident.

Officers from West Mercia Police are now urging all drivers to make sure they do lock their vehicles in order to make it more difficult for potential criminals.

They have also appealed for any witnesses or anyone with any information on the incidents to get in touch by calling 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
