Bromsgrove residents were forced to hold their door shut to keep out masked armed raiders

BROMSGROVE residents had to hold their door shut while masked intruders tried break in.

The burglars tried to force their way into the home on Exmoor Drive at about 7.30pm wearing black clothes and balaclavas on Tuesday (February 2).

The victims were alerted and held the door closed to keep out the two criminals, who were believed to be carrying weapons including a knife, before the pair ran off.

Nothing was stolen and non one was injured but police are keen to speak to anyone who may have information on the incident.

West Mercia Police is investigating a report of an attempted burglary in Bromsgrove on Tuesday, 2 February.

At about 7.30pm two people, who were dressed in black and wearing balaclavas, tried to force their way into a property in Exmoor Drive.

The two occupants were alerted and held the door closed.

The two offenders, who are believed to have been carrying weapons including a knife, ran off.

Nothing was stolen and no-one was injured.

Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in Exmoor Drive or has any information which would help with their enquiries.
