Raising a cuppa for charity at Bromsgrove's Breme Care Home

RESIDENTS at Bromsgrove’s Breme Care Home are hoping people will drop in for a cuppa at a charity event being held in aid of Dementia UK.

New and familiar faces are welcome to the Time for a Cuppa tea party between 10am and midday next Friday (March 4) at the home, 46 Providence Road, There will be a spring-time floral theme and residents have been busily creating beautiful decorations and hand-painted vases.

Peter Rabbit and his four-legged friends will keep the children entertained and there will be live music from Barry and the Three Fivers.

As well as the hot drinks, there will be a mouth-watering variety of sweet reats and all the cash collected will be used by Dementia UK to fund Admiral Nurses – specialist dementia nurses who provide care, advice and support to families living with dementia.




Breme’s manager Denise Clark said: “Dementia UK is a charity close to all our hearts here so we are really looking forward to welcoming people along to help us to raise as much money as we can to fund more Admiral Nurses.”

* A TIME For a Cuppa event will also be held between 10.30am and midday next Friday (March 4) at Housman Court, School Drive.

Everyone is welcome to the morning for tea, coffee and home-made cakes in aid of Dementia UK.
