A PUBLISHED author inspired students at South Bromsgrove High School to follow their dreams when she shared pearls of wisdom about her very first book.
Year 11 students listened with awe to Olivia Levez, newly published author of The Island.
She spoke about her dream of becoming a published author despite the many knock backs.
In the run-up to their exams, the students were shown what could be achieved with perseverence and passion.
Olivia also spent time working with groups of year nine and ten students on writing skills based around her own desert island story.
Head of English Hannah Talbot said: “It’s inspiring for students to hear how success can be achieved through dedication and determination.”
