A POSTMAN has been threatened with a knife in Bromsgrove in broad daylight after returning to his car in Stoke Heath.

The victim was on Gilbert Road near the Co-op store, at 9.15am on Friday (September 16), dressed in his uniform.

 

When he walked to his car on Austin Road he was involved in an altercation with two men.

As he tried to drive away the argument continued and one of the men threatened him with a blade.

The first man was white, between 18 and 20 years old, about 5ft 8ins tall, clean shaven with short hair. He wore a dark baseball cap, jacket , jogging bottoms and trainers.

The other was also white, between 18 and 21-years-old, about 5ft 8ins tall with short hair and facial stubble. He also wore a dark cap, jacket, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

Several people and cars were in the area when the victim was held at knife point and police are now appealing for witnesses.

The victim was not injured but anyone with information is urged to call police on 101 or  Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
