Police tell Bromsgrove residents to step up shed and garage security after break-ins

BROMSGROVE residents have been urged to step up their security on sheds and garages after several were broken into in the district in the last month.

Bikes were stolen from a shed at a property in Ryefield Road when raiders gained access between June 1 and 3.

Fortunately, the bikes were later found.

Between 4.30am on May 28 and 5.30pm on June 1, a garden shed was broken into in Marlborough Avenue after the roof was opened and the wooden panels were removed. A number of gardening items were taken.




Two sheds were broken into in Sugarbrook Lane. They were targeted between 4am and 5am on June 1 and a large number of items were stolen.

A number of garages have also been broken into in Hewell Lane.


Witnesses or anyone with any information om any of the break-ins should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
