THESE CCTV images have been released by Bromsgrove Police officers who are trying to trace one man wanted in connection with the robbery of a Bromsgrove betting shop, along with a possible witness to the incident.

The incident happened at about 6.50pm on May 23 when one of the men burst into Ladbrokes, Worcester Road, and demanded money from the cashier.

She was not threatened but felt intimidated.

He took some money from a cash tray she was holding and then opened the till to take more.

He put the undisclosed amount in an orange plastic bag before fleeing.

He was white, under the age of 35 and under 6ft tall.

He was wearing a light cream or beige hoody with the hood up, dark tracksuit bottoms and a flesh coloured stocking over his face.

He ran past Wetherspoons’ Golden Cross Hotel in the High Street and Prezzo and turned into an alleyway, before heading towards the car park which leads to New Road.

Moments earlier, another man had been in the shop and picked up a football leaflet before leaving.

He was white, in his mid to late 20s, of average build and just under 6ft tall. He was wearing a dark baseball cap – possibly dark blue or black, a blue sweatshirt and dark loose fitting trousers. He had a tattoo on the right side of his neck.

Det Con Claire Johnson of West Mercia Police said: “We are releasing CCTV images of the possible witness as well as the offender, as he may have information which could help the inquiry.”

Any witnesses or anyone with any information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
