Police probing spate of thefts from vehicles across Bromsgrove district

POLICE are investigating a spate of thefts from vehicles across Bromsgrove district.

 

  • A PURSE was stolen from an unlocked Land Rover freelander in Bromsgrove.

    The incident took place between 5pm on August 20 and 10am the following day.

    A £35 Black Radley purse containing £25 in cash and various cards was taken from the vehicle parked on a drive off Parkstone Avenue.

 




  • CRIMINALS escaped with a Bosch saw worth £100 after breaking into a van in Catshill.  Two men, one young and one older, were caught on footage approaching a locked blue Ford Transit van parked in Marlbrook Gardens at 6.22pm on September 17. The thieves pulled up in a blue Vectra Estate, AY03 LFW, and were seen putting their hoods up and gloves on. One of them also had a litter grabber stick with him. They pair approach the van and within seconds the indicators flashed and the vehicle opened. One of the men took out a box before they pair returned to the car and drove off.

 

  • A STIHL Hedge Trimmer worth £600 was taken from a garage in Upton Warren by burglars.

    The incident took place between 10am and 3.30pm on September 17.


    The thieves gained access to the garage, off Woodcote Lane, which was attached to a property, before they took trimmer with a serial number of 43775657.

 

  • A SPARE tyre and fitting worth £200 was stolen from the back of a Land Rover defender parked in Catshill.

    The vehicle, which was left on a driveway on Golden Cross Lane, was targeted overnight between September 15 and September 16.

 

  • CRIMINALS stole a £70 pair of black sunglasses and two CDs worth £20 from a car in Rednal.

    The incident involving a Silver Ford Mondeo, parked on Chestnut Drive, happened overnight between September 18 and September 19.
