Picture of baby Riley scoops top photographic award

A PHOTO of the newborn son of the Bromsgrove couple who launched Libby Mae’s Little Angels has won an award.

Riley Sharratt was ten days old when the image was captured by Michelle White.

Since then the picture has won an award through the Cherub’s Baby Photographers scheme ran by the Master Photographer’s Association.

The judges said they just loved the picture.

Riley is the second child of Charlotte and Richard Sharratt who co-founded the charity in memory of Libby-Mae who passed away in 2012 after having a rare condition whereby a vein between her left lung and her heart did not develop properly.

Since then Libby Mae’s Little Angels has raised more than £100,000 for neonatal units across the West Midlands.

Michelle is a huge advocate for the charity as her daughter Gracie spent two weeks in a neonatal unit when she was born in 2013.

She is fully aware of how important the care units can be so she is donating a percentage of her profits to the charity when customers book a newborn art session with Michelle White Photography.

Michelle said: “I am very passionate about the work I create and I am absolutely thrilled to receive recognition for doing something I love.

“I thoroughly enjoy working with beautiful newborn babies and families to produce a timeless piece of art that will last for generations to come.”
