SAINSBURY’S Northfield is seeking a charity to support in the area and wants residents to nominate one by May 9.
The supermarket giant will launch its Local Charity of the Year scheme today (Friday) and, when nominations are in, a shortlist will be made public for customers to vote for.
The winning charity will receive a year of support from the store, which includes fund-raising and awareness.
Customers will vote between 13 and 26 June in stores and online.
