YOUNG fans of The Beano will be in their element in Bromsgrove after a local pub opened a Dennice the Menace-themed soft play area.
And The Guild, Brewers Fayre, held a special opening event on Saturday (December 6) which local nurseries and families were invited to.
The play area has two sections – one for older children and one for toddlers – and there is also another room which can be used for quieter activities and children’s parties.
The section with the Dennis the Menace play area also enables parents or carers to have their food and drink there so they can watch their children having fun.
At Saturday’s launch, Dennis the Menace was there with his dog Gnasher and there was a special visitor as well – Father Christmas and his elves.
In keeping with the theme, copies of The Beano are on sale at the venue and there are Dennis the Menace activity books are available there.
