CHANGES are being made to Rubery’s Partners and Communities Together scheme with interim options for residents to express their concerns to officers at a new surgery which will be out and about in the village in between the regular PACT meetings.

The new rural and cyber crime van, which is available for officers in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Kidderminster, will be used as a ‘mobile police station’ visiting different places in Rubery to give residents more opportunities to have their say.

Its first outing will see it be outside Tino’s Pizza, New Road, from 11am to 1pm on Saturday (September 17).

Officers will be on hand to talk to residents about any local issues that are bothering them and they will be offering advice on crime prevention, other public safety issues, cyber crime and business cyber crime.
