A BRAND new Boots store has opened in Longbridge, bringing 35 jobs to the area.
The new 10,000sq ft store incorporates the Boots Opticians practice and has created a wide range of roles, including assistant managers and beauty, healthcare and customer advisers.
The interior been designed to offer an impressive modern space using a brand new LED mood-lighting system.
Store manager at Boots UK Longbridge, Fawzia Lokat said: “The team and I are delighted to officially open our store to the local community in Longbridge.
“As part of this brand new town centre, we feel we can really make a difference to the community of Longbridge not only from a beauty and healthcare perspective, but also by offering community engagement and convenience on the High Street.”
The team at the Longbridge store are also keen to promote fund-raising and in-store charity events including BBC Children in Need and Macmillan Cancer Support.
