THE BUMPS and Babies group run by the Bromsgrove branch of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) for new and expectant mums and dads will be relaunched on Thursday (April 28).
The sessions will take place from 10am to 11.30am every Thursday from this week at the David Lloyd fitness centre, Slideslow Drive.
All parents are welcome whether it is their first, second or even their fifth baby.
The group provides relaxed and informal get-togethers for parents and parents-to-be to make new friends, share tips and chat with others going through the same situations.
Alison Gough, the Bromsgrove NCT Bumps and Babies Co-ordinator, said: “Having a baby is an amazing experience but it can also be quite isolating.
“Coming to this group gives you a reason to get out of the house and socialise with people in your local area who can understand what you’re going through.
“We’re thrilled David Lloyd has opened its doors to welcome new families, and you don’t need to be a member of the gym or of the NCT to attend.
“We’re looking forward to meeting new mums, dads and babies.”
Other activities offered by the Bromsgrove NCT include ante-natal and post-natal courses, nearly new sales, first aid training, breastfeeding support, home birth advice and more.
