BROMSGROVE MP, Sajid Javid has welcomed the Government’s £80million increase in funding to stop violence against women and girls.
The funding, announced on International Women’s Day, is part of the new Violence Against Women (VAGW) Strategy.
Sajid said: “Violence against women is simply unacceptable.
“This new strategy and increased funding is therefore a welcome step forward.
“As a father of three daughters, I am determined that such abuse is prevented.
“I want to see all of our children grow up in a safer world, where men and women are valued equally”.
