Miss Worcestershire's Stoke Prior auction party raises thousands for charity

THOUSANDS of pounds were raised for charity when Miss Worcestershire Laura Beth Morgan held her Auction Party last Friday (April 8).

More than 200 people went along to the event at the Red House Barn in Stoke Prior.

It featured a photo booth from Jelly Photography, lighting from Table Art and beautiful furniture from Few Marquees.

The new Miss Worcestershire ale which was created by the Black Country based Sadlers Brewery was also launched at the glitzy event.




The cash raised by the evening, by Belbroughton resident Laura, will go towards Beauty with a Purpose, which helps disadvantaged children worldwide.

 


Auction prizes included a Royal Ascot package for two, A Land Rover

Laura said: “It was lovely to see so many old and new friends supporting the event from around Worcestershire.

 

“Thank you to everyone who came on the evening to support the charity and who donated raffle and auction prizes.”

Janice Boswell added: “What a delightful evening it was, full of fun and fellowship.

“So many faces full of surprise of what the evening was going to entail and gave such joy to many there that night.”

Laura will compete in the finals of Miss England in Southport on July 20 and 21.
