'Miracle no one was hurt' after lorry crashed on M5

Bromsgrove Editorial 23rd Jan, 2016 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

MIRACULOUSLY, no one was hurt when an HGV overturned on the M5 last night (Friday).

The incident, which happened near Droitwich also led to a large diesel spillage and long delays after the police had to close the northbound carriageway from Junction 5 (Droitwich) to Junction 4A (Bromsgrove).

The carriageway was shut all night and traffic was diverted via the M42.

The motorway was due to reopen this morning at 6am.
