PUPILS at Millfields First School have certainly been showing off their creative side and flair for the arts after landing the school a prestigious award.
Millfields has been handed an ‘Artsmark Gold’ accolade, which recognises the excellent arts provision at the school.
It is a title staff have been striving for over the last few years and a lot of hard work has gone into the subjects.
The school’s arts co-ordinator Samantha Evans said: “We are very proud of how our children embrace the arts at Millfields First School.
“It is a delight to see their confidence, enthusiasm and skills develop through the fantastic opportunities we provide in our curriculum.
“All the hard work of the children and staff has been recognised in our school achieving the prestigious Artsmark Gold.”
