MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Ladies Circle will be marking a special celebration tomorrow (Saturday) when they join the national and Irish organisations of the same name for 80th birthday celebrations.
The event takes place at St John’s Hotel where more than 550 women will attend. Already sold out, the 1936-themed celebration luncheon will include stalls, cocktails, gifts, a three-course sit down meal, entertainment and a raffle.
Inspirational guest speaker Rosie Green who is a beauty editor and columnist at Red Magazine will also be there along with two members of the all-female Coxless Crew who rowed across the Pacific Ocean last year.
Vicky Hadley chair of Bromsgrove Circle said: “Ladies Circle is an amazing association to be a part of and gives young women in the Bromsgrove area the opportunity to connect, have a great time and give something back to the community.
“Though the club was established in a different time, the original principles of friendship and service remain as relevant today as ever.
“Our club offers young women a chance to do something for themselves through new challenges and activities, opportunities to make new friends and importantly, to make a difference.
“We always welcome new members.”

“It’s the culmination of many months of planning and hard work so we’re all very excited to see it coming to fruition.
“I think our cocktail countdown of 80 days to the 80th celebrations has kept us on track and focused.”
