THOSE wanting to experience some traditional May Day celebrations can get themselves down to Bromsgrove’s Avoncroft Museum from 10.30am on bank holiday Monday (May 5).
The activities to mark the start of spring include Maypole dancing and traditional games.
Visitors will be able to try their hand at archery, ride the museum’s popular miniature railway, enjoy traditional fairground attractions and meet furry and prickly friends with Animal Mania and Hedgehog Rescue.
Other attractions include a craft fair and demonstrations of 19th century chain making in the chain shop rescued from Cradley in the Black Country.
Admission is £8.80 for adults, £7.70 for seniors, £4.50 for children and free entry for Avoncroft Museum members.
