POLICE have questioned a man in connection with a racially aggravated attack in Barnt Green.
The 56-year-old was interviewed by officers over the incident which happened in Hewell Lane on Monday (June 27)
The man was not arrested and the police are still continuing with their inquiries.
Superintendent Kevin Purcell said: “All reports of hate crime are investigated fully and as in this case we would encourage who feels they are the victim of it to report it. At the outset the victim of this incident believed it possible that a police officer was involved. I am able to confirm that was not the case.
“We continue to work with the victim to offer her support, whilst our investigation is ongoing.”
