A MAN has been jailed for 21 months for a string of sexual offences against young girls which took place in Bromsgrove.

Toby Rogers, of The Grove, Studley, was sentenced after pleading guilty to four charges last Friday (March 20) at Worcester Crown Court.

The 21-year-old admitted three counts of assault on a female under 13, one count of sexual activity with a female under 16, and one count of interfering with a witness for the case.

The offences happened throughout August and September 2013 in Stoke Prior and involved two girls.

Rogers was arrested on February 14, following an investigation by West Mercia and Warwickshire Police.

DI Matthew Skelton, from protecting vulnerable people, said the forces were pleased with the result.

“We hope this indicates to the public that Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police are committed to protecting people from harm and bringing offenders to justice.”

“We would urge anyone who may be a victim of this sort of crime to come forward by calling 101.”
