A MAN was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence after an incident in Bromsgrove Town Centre on Friday night (July 1).
Officers were called to the Worcester Road at 8.10pm after reports of a man who was seen with what was believed to have been a handgun tucked into his shorts.
Police later arrested the 41-year-old man and after quizzing him about the incident, he was released on bail until August 8.
No threats were made by the man and police inquiries are continuing.
