FILM FANS will be in for a treat when Barnt Green plays host to two outdoor cinema showings in two days.
Residents can catch The Lion King on September 4 and a day later, on September 5, foot-tapping feelgood classic Mamma Mia.
The latter will be followed by an Abba themed party.
The organisers told The Standard: “We want people to join us for two nights of cinema under the stars – evenings of quality entertainment in the great outdoors, close to the heart of Barnt Green Village.
“Bring along a blanket and camping chair and snuggle under the sky – we’ll provide hot food, a fully licensed bar and an unforgettable cinematic experience.”
A huge stretch tent will provide both the backdrop for the evenings’ entertainment and cover from the elements.
Tickets, which are £15 for adults and £6 for children (under 12), are available from https://thelittleboxoffice.com/barntgreenoutdoorcinema as well as Barnt Green Post Office and Barnt Green Sports Club.
Films will be screened at 7.30pm on the Friday night and 8pm on the Saturday night.
