THE PRIMROSE Hospice’s marketing and community fund-raiser will bid farewell to the charity today (Friday) after more than five years with the charity.
Lucy Baylis started as a volunteer five years ago before taking up her role in June 2012.
During her time there, she has helped with numerous fund-raising campaigns and even taken part in a few, including the Santa Dash, a onesie run at Parkside Middle School and a Zumbathon.
She will be taking up a new role with Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge but she said she was sad to be leaving and would miss a lot of people both at the Primrose and from around Bromsgrove.
“I would like to thank all those that have supported me in my role and supported the hospice.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and I will miss dressing up in ridiculous outfits for the papers.
“But, most of all I will miss all the wonderful supporters, staff and volunteers that I have met and all the friends that I have made.
“Thank you for everything, take care and wish me luck.”
