Look out for George and raise cash for Primrose

A BROMSGROVE building supplies firm is showing its support for England’s World Cup bid and raising funds for the Primrose Hospice at the same time with the newest addition to its vehicle fleet.

Accumix Concrete has christened its latest delivery truck George and it has been adourned with the famous red and white flag ahead of the national team’s opening game against Italy on Saturday (June 14).

The company wants anyone who spots George to take a photo of him and send it to [email protected] with the street and area it was in and the date and time it was snapped.

For every unique location pictured, the company will put £10 in its fund-raising pot – that will be split between the Primrose and Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge.

Accumix’s managing director Steve Phillips said the firm wanted to raise vital funds for the hospices and show its support for England at the same time.

“This seemed like a great way to do both,” he added.
