LONGBRIDGE Methodist Church has raised £4,800 for a charity which helps some of the world’s poorest people.
The money will be going to Mercy Ships UK, which provide the world’s largest floating hospital, taking free medical care to those in need.
The figure was raised through a series of events, including concerts, a coffee morning, a quiz night and a sponsored singathon.
A cheque was presented to Rev Hilary and Dr Leo Cheng, who were representing the charity.
