RESIDENTS in South Birmingham can find out more about a campaign to provide knitted breast prostheses for women who have lost theirs through cancer treatment.

The Knitted Knockers UK event will be held at the LPAP in Longbridge between 10.30am and 6pm tomorrow (Saturday).

The charity is committed to providing 100 per cent cotton breast prostheses to mastectomy and lumpectomy patients who request them.

Anyone who can knit is urged to join the team tomorrow (Saturday) and help provide some knitted knocker s.

Those who go along should take their own knitting needles and crochet hooks and cotton will be provided for a small donation.

LPAP is at 9 High Street, Longbridge.

Knitted knockers are given out to those who need them free of charge.

Visit www.knittedknockersuk.com for more on the campaign or www.LPAP.co.uk for more on the LPAP.
