BUILDING site safety was the talk of St Andrew’s CofE First School after pupils paid a visit to CALA Homes’ Foxhills development in Barnt Green for a special lesson.
The group of year three and four pupils were invited to the development of Fiery Hill Road, which is still under construction, to learn all about the ins and outs of building sites.
St Andrew’s teacher Catherine Parchment said: “We are extremely grateful to CALA Homes for arranging this visit for us – it was a great opportunity for the children to discover what happens on site each day and to be reminded why its so important not to try and play on building sites.”
