A GOLF tournament organised by Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes has raised £12,600 for Primrose Hospice and the Midlands Air Ambulance.
The tournament, at the Redditch Golf Club, encompassed 23 teams, and there were donations from more than 40 local businesses.
The total amount raised will be split equally between the two charities.
Winning civil engineering company MV Kelly won the tournament after completing the 18-hole course with 85 points.
The cash raised will be spent on providing services for people with life-limiting illnesses at Primrose Hospice, and on keeping the three air ambulances at Midland Air Ambulance operational.
Kate Kelly, Primrose Hospice’s corporate fund-raiser, said, “This is an extremely generous and very welcome donation from the developers and the companies which took part in the golf tournament.
“Primrose Hospice relies on donations to provide our services for free.”
